Occupation: Retired Areo Space Engineer. 

I escaped from California to Arizona in October 2004.

I raced karts in the 80s, as a member of Southern California Karters. I was class champion in 1987, in the 150cc open class.
I met Jens at St. Johns and he explained to me what he was trying to do with Formula Ford and the spec tires. I always thought that I would like to drive a Formula car since the 60s, this sounded like my chance. Although I am getting a late start at the age of 68 I am looking forward to joining and learning from what appears to be a great group of drivers.
I own a replica Cobra by Factory Five and a Replica Lotus Seven by Superformance.

Scariest Moment:

.............................At Riverside Raceway in California on the first lap, I came out of turn nine backwards. Coming to a dead stop, I found myself facing a large pack of oncoming traffic. There I sat with my hand in the air. Except for one minor touch they all missed by inches. It was definitely a shorts changing time.
