Scott Stark
Lola T-340

Occupation:  Avnet programming center Technical & 1st. Article Dept. Supervisor.  Avnet Electronics

I started racing at the ripe old age of 6, at a very low keyed Go-Kart track in South Bend Indiana.
By the time I was in high school, my interest's included boats and snowmobiles. Both of which I raced, off and on, during their respective seasons.

After a 4yr stint in the US Army, I purchased my first real race car. A Lynx-B Formula Vee. I campaigned that car in as many events as possible, in the Midwest during the summer time, and was racing a Mercury 440 "liquid" SnoTwister snowmobile in the winter.

In 1987, I moved to Arizona, where I pit crewed for several drivers before purchasing my Lola T-340. 1988 is when my Formula Ford "career" began.

I ran heavily from the late 80's to mid 90's, with Chris Harrison, from Harrison Auto Dynamics, doing all of the major mechanical work and helping me capture three Championships - w/Driver of the Year Honors.

I then took a sabbatical from racing to change careers, get married (to an extremely lucky lady), get my degree, and bought a home.

So now.....I'm back, once again enjoying my legal addiction.
