- Stop the presses! -
For
years, it was suspected that Mike Milner brought "2" cars to the
track.
I present proof, that Mike's car is NOT immune to dirt.

- A letter from a Cal speedway participant -
Richard, and everyone involved in "The Series",
I wanted to thank you for such a great weekend!!!!
I was so hot and tired after the race, and was only thinking about
getting back home to Tucson before dark(which didn't even come close
to happening due to someone else's wreck on I-10) when I realized that
I had not taken the time to come and thank you, your family, and the
rest of all the drivers for such a fantastic time.
The effort and passion Richard has for what he is doing is with
"The Series" is contagious, which shows through in the
quality of people and drivers that are participating with us.
Each event is more fun than the last one.
This weekend was the kind of weekend that will be a lingering memory
for the rest of my life; it was my first time at Cal Speedway;
my first time in a grid of 30 formula fords; and being able to watch
the race on Sunday from the best seat in the house perched in 5th
place.
The show that the Patterson's, Pittenger, and Hatle put on was really
awesome!!!!! Those cars were so evenly matched, and the drivers
were so skilled and talented. I was amazed at the number of
passes done each lap. The spectator only got to see a portion of
the race from whatever section they were standing, but my seat was
about 5 car lengths back for the entire time.
I got to an opportunity to watch, and learn from some of our best
at what they do. It was truly amazing, and I now regret
that I didn't have an on board camera to share the footage of the
race. Its going to be replayed in my mind for a long time.
The drive home turned out to be extremely long, the lack of A/C didn't
help. I was completely exhausted all day today at work.
The funny thing is, while I was working today on "autopilot
mode" and just getting through the day, I was still on the
banking on the speedway with all my friends.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next event, and I will share any
pictures with the group that my friend, Kevin, came took from
Saturday.
Thanks again to everyone for an amazing weekend!!

JFYI *
"Ed
confirmed - 25
-
Formula Ford entries as of yesterday.
I
have confirmed by email 3 more Formula Fords will be entering.
That's
28!!!!!!
It
would be incredible to have 30 or more on Saturdays pre-grid.
I
have spoken or emailed four others. One is having his car
shipped from back east. We have our fingers crossed hoping it
will arrive in time. I have not heard from another driver,
but was told by a friend he will be at Cal Speedway. A third
has told me he did not think he could make the event. I am hoping
he finds a way. A fourth has entered his Sports Racer but last
night emailed that he may also enter his Formula Ford.
Think
about it, a milestone, 30 or more Formula Fords on pre-grid.
Guys, this is special. If you have not entered, do you really want
to miss this event? Please find a way to be at California Speedway.
GARAGES:
Two left over as of today.
Here's
hoping for 30 or more....."

"A message from Richard Holladay"
Great
News:
We
have 24 Formula Ford drivers who have said they will be
racing at the HSR-West event at California Speedway on June 20, 21, 22.
Two
additional drivers have told us they are doing their best to make
the event.
We
have at least 6 drivers we have not been able to contact.
We are hopeful several of those will also be at California Speedway.
In
three weeks we are going to have another "Series" barn
burner.
Several
spectator Formula Ford owners will be coming out to see what our
"Series" is all about.
If the past is any indication, they will be come members in the very near future.
THANKS
TO ALL FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO FORMULA FORD "THE SERIES."
See
you at California Speedway.

I missed being there Saturday, but understand that
there was contact between a couple cars Sunday was cold, overcast & occasionally
sprinkling. Our count down timer has been reset. Warm up laps Mr. Mark Tranter, tries Tim's Vector on for size. Radiator issues sidelined Jared for the rest of the
weekend. The top three finishers, both days, chit chatting. Mr. Jim Edmonds, preparing to go out in the cold
weather. Taylor Archer is from Canada, and probably thought
this was summer weather. All lined up on pre-grid All "6" FF's ready to go on pre-grid. Tim Haskin.....All Concentration And they get the green! Mr. Jared Ratcliffe, finally receives his 2007
National Champion trophy. The Coneheads. Discussing race strategy. Many thanks to my friend Mr. Kurt Chandler for
providing info & photos Thanks Kurt!

The menu’s vary each day and the food is great so you won’t need to bring anything and you won’t go home hungry. Believe me, Team Geno's hospitality area RULES!
