Formula Ford launched a new, aggressive style of American race driving.
A way of thinking that seems to overcome even the most rational of men
when they get behind the wheel. It goes something like this..... 1). You are invulnerable once strapped inside your 930 lb race car. 2). If you win the race, a top Formula One Team will immediately contact you for a Formula 1 drive. 3). Anything goes on the first lap. 4). If the car feels stable, you're not going fast enough. 5). If you can get your nose inside him, you can pass him. 6). Anything goes on the last lap.
